Reprint from Talk Lubbock forum StevenFromTexas - Lubbock has quite a bunch of poster-children for dumb-a*s drivers.It seems that half of the pick-up drivers and SUV drivers run over about every person on a bicycle or motorcycle in town.Then you've got all the dumb-a*s motorcyclists who don't wear helmets and the dumb-a*ses that run into each other when no one else is within a mile of them.The police department needs to start arresting drivers who are driving aggressively.Not ticket them, but arrest them on the spot to make an example of them.

I'm not sure if traffic violations are arrestable unless the offense involves alcohol.I agree that Lubbock drivers are lame and many are students,elderly or out-of-towners.I drive 40 mph except in school zones just to be safe.
