Last weekend, we went with Megan and Joseph to walk around the 4th ward of Charlotte. It is a section of uptown Charlotte (they call the downtown area "uptown" here) that is super close to the city center and has some amazing historic homes. We found a little guide at one of the park areas and toured the fun neighborhood.For several months now Izzie has been telling either me or Chris that we are her best friend if she is especially pleased with us. She mostly says it to Chris, especially on the weekends when he is home with us. She will tilt her head and smile up at him then go, "Daddy, you're my best friend."She only says it to me if Chris isn't home- such a daddy's girl.
